The Saudi government has recently taken steps
to strengthen the boycott against Israel by instructing the Saudi customs
service to bar entry to any products not carrying a certificate of origin, for
fear that the items may have originated in Israel. |

Saudis Tighten Anti-Israel Boycott Further

The Saudi government has taken steps to
tighten its boycott of Israel by warning any violators would be handled
"severely" and scrutinizing bills of lading to make sure no imported goods
passed through Israel, media reports say...Meanwhile, Saudi Health Minister
Osama Shubokshi launched an investigation into reports that medications
imported to the kingdom from European countries were manufactured in Israel.
